Hi, I'm Carl!

Hi, I'm Carl Bengtsson. Your new favorite photographer. (Andrew is the middle name, just easier to spell. LOL). I have been shooting professionally since 1996. Which is a funny story BTW. 

So, there I was in the middle of my college career. I was going to school for fashion photography and putting myself through college as a wedding DJ. (For the record, I had zero interest in Wedding/Event photography) However, the guy I was working for at the time, called me up one Thursday afternoon in Late July 1996 basically PLEADING me to shoot a wedding. Ok, pleading might be a bit of an exaggeration. But, he did get a call from a bride whose photographer had bailed on her last minute, and she was calling her other vendors to see if they could refer anyone to take the gig last minute. Which is when he thought of me. Alas, I was not, as I mentioned, really into the wedding thing. But, he offered me quite a bit of money to shoot the wedding thus adding Wedding Photography as a new line item to his DJ biz. 

Short story, as you may have guessed, I loved it! And, I guess the couple kinda liked me too. From that wedding I got several referrals and by 1998 I was shooting more weddings than I could handle. 

Since then I've done everything under the sun. But, today after much evolution I am happy to be focusing on professional headshots, real estate, and yes wedding and event photography. So, whether selling your home, updating your profile, or gettin' hitched, I'm your guy. Give me a call! Can't wait to be your photographer!
